ZAP The Electric Car and iPods

I received my ZAP newsletter today (www.zapworld.com) The ride of the future. Ok those of us green people.... in the newspaper it said the city of Richmond and ZAP Partner to fight global warming. They are starting a pilot program intended to research the effectiveness of implementing EVs into municipal fleet operations. They also stated that "Studies show electric cars cost less to refuel and maintain, not to mention the reduction in noise and gas emissions compared to internal combustion vehicles," says ZAP CEO Steve Schneider.
ZAP and Lotus Engineering join together to pioneer advanced electric car... Their goal is to achieve unprecedented levels of performance and utility.
ZAP portable energy is expanding into mass retailers and iPod users... that should make a lot of us very happy! Road warriors will like the sleek design and power of their portable energy line said Steve Tucker, Sales Manager, ZAP Portable Energy. I didn't know ZAP was into portable energy also. You know what that would mean... less disposable batteries in landfills!!!
ZAP has pledged to plant 1,000,000 trees to fight global warming... I'm going to check the website out now...www.zaptrees.org Also check out www.zapworld.com and see OBVIO the Brazilian micro-sport car on Good Morning America.
ZAP gets lots of Kudos for their work for an alternative car! Thank you ZAP
